Junkathon Clothes Mission

I buy clothes from charity shops. The money goes to charity and only by proxy to big companies. I feel less guilty and its cheaper. My mother buys lots of clothes and those she rejects she gives to me. Result, I have lots of clothes. Some of which I don't actually like that much.

So the Junkathon clothes mission is to look at a new stack of clothes every so often and either, re-donate, cut it up for rags, customise it to make it better or keep it.
Thus far I have sown up a top I like but which has a tiny hole, adapted a skirt with a rip into a belt like afair, made a curious hybrid top, changed the buttons on a boring jacket to something more upbeat, at last put a button on the cardigan I knitted and made a dress out of some material I had lying about. More to come. pics so far below.

Latest creations, a pair of leggings and a proper sweat shirt made from bits of offcuts from Halton Play resource centre.
